Default Will it fit?

So i have this 1967 mustang and its only got a 200 six cylinder motor and i am sick of it! Can a 289 or even a 302 be placed into the car without having to change the suspension? I have been told that the only thing i wiould have to change is the motor mounts but i have also been told i may need to change out the whole suspension> Can anyone help me with this problem someone who knows for sure?!?!? Thanks,
Ryan Jackson

well i know my uncle swapped in a 351 windsor in his 69 but it filled the engine bay so much he couldnt change the spark plugs...so i imagine a 305 would fit

you can fit pretty much any small block in there...

But you will need to do somework on the front suspension...

you will need a tranny, rear (not sure so dont quote me), motormounts, bigger rad, and a few other things...

go for it... not too hard... its fun
