I hear ya, I'd rather drive around and have my body parts sitting in my room until I have the money to get them painted, then put them on and bring it to the shop...better than driving around in a franksteined car.

The town I grew up in was about 50% mexican and 40%white (10% other) and we used to bag on the mexicans unendingly about the crap they'd do to their cars (poorly applied stick-on chrome, 4 pairs of curb feelers, garish mural paintings on back windows, pink dingle *****, non-functional side pipes, etc...) but I tell you what... ricers make mexican cars look like show cars.

There's soooo many of them too. There's got to be a way we can get a scoop of all the money ricers waste on fake crap for ourselves. Someone help me out here... what's the least ethical (while being totally 100% legal) way that we can separate ricers from their money?

best way is to mind your own business..its us ricers that give you guys competition at the track..its because of us more and more aftermarket parts are being built for cars, its because of us you have jobs at plants out in farm country working hard to make these aftermarket parts for us..so the way i see it is that you guys line your pockets on our so called wasted money..as ur screen name suggests...instead of wasting all ur time and energy posting up on these boards why dont you get a job or something, that way you can say you did something productive instead of going on a board and saying is there any way to separate the money from the ricers..why dont you ask your mom..how hard is it for her to pull away from a twinkie?

Ah! A ricer, quick get the fly-swatter!

Funny how you registered JUST to post that incoherent and rambled response...funny because most domestic drivers usually think that you ricers are the jobless 16 year olds who rice out their moms' cars, whereas you apparently see it the other way around.

And I really don't think major aftermarket companies are being kept alive because of the ricers, any serious business probably isn't trying to appeal to the ricer crowd, more like serious racers and car enthusiasts..not people who want to make their cars look like hotwheels toys...

And I'm not exactly sure what r3dn3ck has in his GT, but I'm sure the majority of the ricers that go to the same track as him are no challenge at all..

... 99% of the ricers out there..aren't going to give most of these mustang (or any other american muscle car) drivers a challenge.

Unless we're talking about like...a Supra or something.. but normally at the track, we race others with actual engines.. not cracker jack boxes..

Anyways.. the reason why ricers have such a lousy name around here is because basically.. they do.. retarded things..

Race down the busiest road in town at 3pm to see whos wind up toy is faster, ect.

And these after market companies such as GReddy, Tanabe, HKS I beleive were around long before people decided to grab the little handa civic hatchback and strap on everything they could to it.

And attempting to take shots at someones income around here is ..idiotic.. especially when you want to compare cars..

ricers are the ones putting stuff on their cars to make it look like the cars that the large companies built stuff for and put into magazines. I could post images all day long but its useless. People that have the brain to put together reasonable thought get it and people like retard above are the ones with the red dodge neon thats 3 different shades of red, with a 4" exhaust tip, ebay bought springs bouncin all over, with the fake turbo whine attached to his exhaust down shifting his automatic on every station wagon he pulls up on.

You rice burner make true tuner drivers look bad. Here is a picture of a tuner....Notice that mach 1 on the otherside? Its mine...

I ran a 13.2....he ran a 12.8

his car was built and done right. There were many there that day running better times than me PLUS a 10sec honda civic

.....ricers. Not so much, they were there running 16.2 and 18.6. They even made a 16sec and higher class for them...

Taking shots at my income is, in a word, hilarious. I pay more in taxes annually than 60% of Americans get paid gross. I'm happy being a professional that gets paid extremely well to do very little. I even get paid to surf message boards and **** off the uneducated and insecure.

What I really like is that I got under his skin deep enough that he went on a personal attack spree. I'm imagining that he's been spending his McJob money on stickers and fake wings and just realized that all that money was wasted and his car is still a honda. That's cool, I'm secure enough in my tastefully done and respectably fast car that I need not display anything but smiles and happy thoughts for our grain incinerating pal. I wish him luck in his pursuit of trumpet-like exhaust notes and mad dashes to 17second 1/4 mile passes.

Now then...back to taking stupid peoples money. I've been thinking of porting my redneck go-fast concepts to rice-neck style. Something like a Tornado but 1 for each intake runner. They're bound to pay 60-150 bucks for that pile of crap by the bucket load. Any takers?

Notice the exhaust pipe on that import. Little tiny stock looking. That's the car to look out for on the drag strip. the one that doesn't look like it'll blow the paint off your doors. Rice is like imitation crab, it looks like the real thing but the meat of the matter just isn't there and it's wholly unsatisfying when you have a craving for the real thing.

BTW... does anyone notice how much like the old Grabber Blue color the newer Sonic Blue looks. Gawd I like that color... almost as much as electric green.

why are you guys being so narrow minded? there are plenty of competitive "4 bangers" out there. any car has potential, you just need to know what to do with it. honestly, i love all types of cars, and i know a lot of hondas that can come close, if not beat a mustang in any aspect of racing.

Yeah, and there are a whole lot of C6's that can beat lambos, ferraris, and the Veyron in any aspect of racing..but who cares?

Rice.

were being narrow minded because 85-90% of them put on a CAI, and a cat-back bought from ebay, big wing, front bumper(unpainted), home made chicken wire grill, stickers, neons, shift ****, headunit, and racing seat COVERS and come up to us revving at every stop light then they get killed and fly by you after the race like they just pulled on you

holy hell this topic is old..i thought we agreed the flashy hondas are the "lol" hondas..and the ones at the track that look stock as hell are the ones that run like ...11s or something =x

Simple fact is...is that most hondas are driven by people who have played way too much need for speed..or take the fast and the furious way too seriously.. your honda with its little fart cannon and cai that doesn't do jack won't take a GT..or even a v6..

Hondas got a bad name after the kids started pulling crap like that..or cutting through traffic like their car is fast and then pulling up next to a muscle car and revving like a little idiot..

This is a good place! Anyways in your opinion what makes a ricer.I use this term very loosely because I say, hey do what makes you happy and everyone else can screw off.The truth is there are 100x more ricey commodores out there than my "imported" supra which has stock wheels, stock ride height.
