CF Hoods

what do you guys think of this hood on my car?

it costs a pretty penny but its cf...ill probably get it painted some cool design to keep the c/f look

I could be wrong but when I was looking at that style hood, if you do not have the cobra bumper there is a huge gap between the top bumper pillars and the hood? The hood does not dip down in the front as much as others.

Yeah but his car was MG and could definitely pull it off. On your car, I think any CF anywhere would just look rice.

Dude that hood is $750 shipped. Thats a lot of money for a hood. There are a lot of places you can get a fiberglass hood for like $250. I was reading some mustang magazine the other day while taking a **** and they were advertising all style fiberglass hoods for $249.00. I think its in the latest issue of MM&FF

And honestly if you have $750 buy some rims, Your car with a chin spoiler, stock rims, and an unpainted hood is going to look like a ricer from far away.

If i were to get a CF hood, id get the cowl hood and leave the cowl CF and paint the sides. That would look a lot nicer and flow way better with the car and the paint scheme then doing it to a cobra hood. And like others have said, unless you get the ABC exclusive cobra hood, your going to have a huge *** gap between the hood and your bumper.

i wasnt saying i was getting one..nor did i say where from...it was just a pic too..i plan on getting rims spin!..the real question is when are you gettin you vette?

lol when I finally get the hair to drop $40k on it. I got the money but i just cant see me going and blowing it all on a car yet. Going to wait till i can find a c6 for low 30s or something.
