Default Miami Convicts

Miami needs to be kicked-out of college football. If the entire team does not get suspended for their behavior today, then we should start to question the NCAA. I have never had any respect for that program and they have once again proven to me today why. Talk about a bunch of animals.

Can we kick out V tech while we're at it? Or atleast get them a coach who can control his players?

Seriously, these program are out of control. You have the inmates running the prison at some of these schools. Thsi si what happens when you take a bunch of uneducated morons and feed them steroids. What ever happend to sportsmanship? What ever happened to esprit de corps? I remember back in the late 80's SMU had their football program taken from them. They now need to do the same with Miami and Florida International (who the hell are they anyway?).

Looks like Miami is at a minimum going to have about a dozen players thrown out of all NCAA sports....anyone involved shopuld loose their scholarships if not go to jail. Especially the ones using weapons.

Yep. I don't think there has been a brawl this bad since the Ron Artest brawl. Although they were just suspended which clearly was not enough, any of them that pursue the NFL may be haunted by this later which may be a nice punishment. Some teams may refuse to have a player on their team because of an attitude and unsportsman conduct like that so they may never get a chance to play for the NFL or atleast big teams.

Well if your comparing to the fight it was way worse than the Ron Artest brawl and more people got injured. As far as punishment they all got a little slap on the wrist. Lets see 31players get to sit out the next game 1 GAME! And in the Ron Artest brawl they suspended them the rest of the season including playoffs, THAT WAS ROUGHLY 100 GAMES!!

The NCAA has a rule that if you enter the field for a fight, you get suspended for 4 quarters. In this initial group of 31 guys (and there will be more), some will no doubt face stiffer penalties.

Dustin, this is why refs often times have off-setting personal penalities. It si their way of saying "**** got out of control. Both sides screwed-up."

If you and I were talking and the conversation got heated and I hit you on the head with something I would think that I might face a night in the slammer. Thing is, half the dam Miami team already has a record - lol

I may have gotten a little over the top in my comments, but they need to clamp down on this crap.

Nope I wasn't comparing it at all. I was just saying it is the worse brawl I have seen since then.

Miami is a private school like USC or Stanford so their student body acts way different than the football team, but their football team is making that school look like a bunch of prisoners go there. I'm disgusted because it gives college football a black eye and the NCAA needs to send a clear message to all NCAA athletes.
