Biggest bang for the buck is to spray it! That is the best and only option that fits the criteria you listed.

Oh thought you meant spray GT on the side LOL J/K.
How bout some dual exhausts and maybe cold air intake?
That probably wouldn't gain a bunch of HP though

Nitrous or a blower. Or just drop a 99 & up V8 2v PI engine in it.

Keep in mind, nitrous is by far the biggest bang for the buck. For less than $600 (in some cases a lot less) you can add 75 - 100 hp to your V-6. Imagine that. But, nitrous is not for everyone and requires lots of learning.

Of course there are other mods. You could spend $500 on your exhaust and you might get 15- 20 hp, $200 or so on pullies and get 5 hp, $200 on a cold air intake and get < 5 hp, etc....

Quickly, with a V-6 you will find the money spent on mods could be spent on trading in the V-6 for a V-8.

Default well...

I don't plan on spending thousands to try and make it into a v8, but I do want alittle more power...lol...this is my first real car and In 2 years i was planning on getting a v8 stick, and then really spend time/cash on it, but for now, I just want alittle more power and do some visual mods...ya kno, paint/rims...stuff people see...and also a sound system...but as I said, i do want alittle more power for my lil v6....and I don't plan on making my sgtang into a rice-mobile :tongue3:

In that case, this is what i would do if it were me:

1 - Dual exhaust. This can be done affordably, you will net a hp gain, and this will be viewed as a nice feature when you sell the car in a few years.

2 - A nice set of rims! If you keep the size at 17", there are lots of economical options. Guys are always looking to sell stock GT rims like the bullitt style and you can get a decent set for under $300 used. Again, nice feature when you go to sell the car.

3 - Rear spoiler (if you don't have one). Again, you can find one in your color from a GT for CHEAP! I have a black one for example. Nice added feature with the rims and exhaust. You can get one painted for $50 - $150.

4 - Under drive pullies. Cheap and safe mod. Good for 5-8 hp.

Honestly, i would not go any further than that especially if you are gonna sell the car in two years. Those are good mods, that can be done affordably, and might net you 15 - 20 hp in total. Also, while you might not get all you money back when you sell, you won't get hammered either.

Sounds good, I got the stock spoiler, and I'm fine with it...lol...My orig ideas where...rims/lowered/exhaust/paint...(idk if this will look good on the 98hood but I was thinking of getting the higher part of the hood *the part above the bug colloectors near the sides*, and get the wing painted a diff color, like black.) JUST AN IDEA but idk how it would look...but what you said sounds good. Wut kinda exhaust and pulleys? If lowering sounds good, which ones? (Ill buy from MT or EBAY)

EDIT : idk if I made since about the hood...but basically the part thats higher/center area...
