Default Thinking about letting her go.

I have a 1999 GT Vert, I am thinking about letting her go. I have no idea what she is worth and do not have a clue what to ask for it.

The problem with it is that it has a rebuilt title, it was stolen and someone tore it up, story is that the guy that had it before me girlfriend got mad, took it and beat the crap out of it to make him mad, everything is pretty much fixed on it and it runs great, there is still some minor dings in the side skirts and the paint is not the best in the world, but for a 99 it really is not bad at all.

What do you guys think it would be worth. it has 73,000 miles on it.

I almost forgot, it has no mods on it at all that I know about, so it is still completely stock.

I will try to attach a couple of pics

Yes, I know, but I was not expecting much. My parents bought three years ago with 68,000 miles on it for a little under 7 grand. I aquired it from them at the beginning of the year for a nice price.

We are still not sure we are going to let it go, if I do, I might wait til Spring and hope someone that wants a vert will grab her. But by then I might not need the money. Just had a kid last October and now we are going to be having another one sometime in May it looks like, so the toy may have to go.

That rebuilt title means your gonna get squat for it. You take it to a dealer and use it as a trade in your gonna get maybe 3 grand. My sis got into a accident same year as yours and a V6 completely fixed and got $2,500 for it.

Your best bet is to sell it but its going to be really hard to sell.

It is an auto.

So I thought about it last night, and I really do not see the point in letting it go.

It runs great, and looks pretty good too, so for the price I could probably get for it, I do not see the point. To me the rebuilt title does not mean a thing, I know the car was fixed right, I know who fixed it, so considering what I gave for it, I might as well have fun with it and drive it til it dies. besides I really need a third car in case something happens to mine, that 90 mile one on trip to work is not easy on cars. Then there is the 15 year old boy, that is going to want something to drive next year also.

Thanks for the help in deciding to keep her.

I bought my Grand Am in May 2005, I have added 24,000 miles to it

The mini van I bought in Oct 2005, now has an additional 27,000 miles on it

and I got rid of my Neon in April that I drove to work for 2 years that had about 200,000 miles on it.

I drive way to much.
