Nothing at all. You

1. Buy kit
2. Receive kit
3. Install kit
4. Proceed to dyno
5. Check Timmys magic tune
6. Proceed to track
7. Run mid 12's on street tires
8. Profit

I have heard between 500-700.. From what people have said is that they are pretty easy to install, you just have to take your time

+1 At LEAST see what kinda numbers/cost its putting out. Also, dont blow all that you have saved on the car. I know its tempting, and im happy that you will have it paid off, cause that is the most kickass mod you can do IMO, but put some towards a house or something, invest it wisely for the future, while having a little fun

hellion already has a sick turbo kit, and it costs about 7k, which is around where the MPH one is gonna cost. theres a **** load more you have to do to your car for turbo, mostly to fit all the piping. get the mongoose kit...or i might know a certain person with an intercooled procharger setup for sale

(PM me if you are genuinly interested)

You don't need anything else but that kit. 3.73's would probably be best. It would probably cost close to $1,000 for installation and putting it on a dyno.

MPH's kit is going to run at about 5500 bucks compared to hellions BASE kit at 6000 then its 250 for injectors, 100 for pump, 100 for mass air meter, and 1000 for kmember and suspention. Yeah hellions kit is 7500 bucks. I dont know if MPH is going to include a kmember with their setup, i doubt it.

From the looks of it, MPH isnt going to make much money off the kit itself. itll be more on install.

its a easy install. i was on my own and had everything done in a day. just make sure your gas tank is empty. the only parts i had a problem with was taking off the steeda pullies. oh yeah and reclocking the head unit for the intercooler piping.

Yeah, everybody over there is getting rid of their KB's and S/C's. You might want to check their classifieds, right about now.

Hey, that MPH bandwagon is going to help a lot of people get a supercharger for a nice price. Youll have guys wanting to get rid of them asap so they are marking the price pretty low for a fast sale. The overpriced guys will be forced to mark theirs down too, or keep what they have.

Didn't say it couldn't or hasn't been done. Just not as easy as lining up and going for it! Trust me, it can be difficult!

You and me both.

I was looking at that same MPH kit, but they are also about to be a procharger distirbutor, I'm waiting on the price of that mongoose kit before I decide what route I am going....

Sorry this is a couple months old but didnt want to start a new thread... But im considering buying the mongoose kit from MPH and still have couple dumb questions.. now it says I have to send in some chip for them to burn for me.. what chip? Also once I install the supercharger and the chip is it safe to drive and go into boost? also when I go to the dyno do they have to tune it or anything? or is it just a dyno pull to see how much HP and crap I put down? ( never supercharged or dynoed a car before) Also when my car is being dynoed what exactly am I looking for? and 1 last question! I dont have a xcal tuner is it good to get? say if i put 4.10's in with the supercharger would i need to tune it?

MPH's kit comes with a tune which is installed on a hand held tuner. once you install that tune with the supercharger you have to take it to a dyno to check your air/fuel ratio. your just looking to see if your A/F is 11.5-12.0 on the scale. this is to make sure that nothing went wrong with the tune while it was being loaded to the x-cal. the only thing you have to give them is what is done to your car and what your computer code is.

if you add 4.10's after the blower you will not need a re-tune just an adjustment for the gears to correct your speedo...
