Prep to Remove Grease/ARmor All/etc.

Adhesion Promoter

Vinyl and Carpet Paint (this is the same stuff they use on Horesepower TV and Unique Whips)

AFter all that, try to find a clear coat that isn't a high gloss. YOu don't HAVE to use a clear, but it helps to keep from scratching the painted places.
