Hey guys,
I normally wouldn't do this but this case is horrid and has motivated me to act.
http://wxix.com/Global/story.asp?S=5335578
The story is of foster parents who locked a 3yo boy in a closet for 2 days while they went out of town. He of course died. They took his body to a remote burned out building and incinerated his remains in a disused fireplace, then went on TV asking for the public to help find him.
The DA is letting it go at involuntary manslaughter and a few other minor charges. These people will likely never see a prison cell while that innocent little boy will never see another day.
Please write every news outlet you can, write the DA, call them, call your state representatives, call your senators, call your congressman and put pressure on the District Attorney to prosecute this case as Murder 1. Bring a little justice to the boy's death.
I've already written to CNN, O'Reilly, and the DA for the county but I'm not local. Spread the call to action around and make the DA properly prosecute the case.

they burned the body to ash. That makes direct action (beating, stabbing, etc..) impossible to prove which makes the Murder 1 charge more difficult to prosecute since there has to be malice and forethought (locking a child in a closet says malice to me, leaving for 2 days on a planned trip says forethought). My only thought is that the DA has decided that they want to spend minimal effort and time in court to spare the showing of any bungling of the case that the investigators and prosecutors managed to inject. Instead of working for justice they decided to take the easy way out.

I have 2 little girls and I tell you what.. the kind of brutal sick dimented stuff that I'd do to someone for just injuring them is not fit for discussion.. and that's just for an injury.
If someone went and did to either of them what those folks did to that beautiful little boy, I'd end up on trial for crimes against humanity. How they can let those people off with 0-36 months is totally beyond me.
I say, expose each of the nerves in their body 1 by 1 to an organic solvent.

this type of **** really bothers me. I'm a father of 4, most recently a 6 day old baby girl. My kids are more important than life itself for me. Like R3dn3ck, i would do unspeakable things to anyone who ever harmed them.
I don't care how scared these people were of what punishment would come thier way over this, the simple fact they did this (if in fact proven true), is just not comprehensible to me.
If the local DA stands by and allows this to be charged as reported in this story, then we have a serious problem here Houston.
Turns my stomach to read things like this...
