LOL..... No, your finger is the engine providing power to the wheels.

Weather or not the wheels spin have NOTHING TO DO with this situation.

The engines pull the AIRCRAFT, they do not move the wheels to get forward movement.

The engines when on, pulling the aircraft pull the air, they do not pull the ground.

HERE IS THE ANSWER.

This is a trick question, it tricks you into looking at the situation in the wrong way.

First off, Prop or Jep planes do NOT use movement created by the wheels to gain speed.

Instead they gain speed by pulling the AIR AHEAD of them and BLOWING it BEHIND them.

That said, it does not matter if the trreadmill is moving fast or standing still, it does create AIR MOVEMENT.

The plane gets its movement by pulling the AIR which is still, NOT by pulling itself along the ground with motorized wheels.

So, even if the treadmill is moving 200mph, the plane will still suck air ahead and spit it out behind to gain speed, once it has enough speed it WILL take off.

Now, for ****s and grins, lets put a WIND MACHINE at the end of the runway blowing at the plane. Well, once the wind machine puts enough force out with the wind it creates lift, in which case the plane will STILL take off but it will be hovering.


So, seeing as how the plane does NOT use motors to power the wheels to pull it across the runway, as a car would, that nulls out the runway in its entirety.

If this was actually done? Well, i'd hate to think ot the lodgistics of this but the plane better take off fast or it will simply be dumped off the rear of the runway.
