I just don't know if I really want to get rid of mine that bad.When I first saw the Cobra and the price I was like OMFG I got to have it.But after thinking about it all day and night I'm just not sure.I've only got about 2 more years left to pay on mine and I know EVERYTHING that has been done to it and I have plan's

Also she said my payment would be right at $500 a month.Yes I can handle that but that would be $100 more than what I'm paying now.Plus the cost of the insurance.I'd be paying $1000 a month just in the 2 Mustang payments(06 V6)

I let a guy drive mine around the parking lot at Wal Mart last night and it was the first time I've seen mine moving without me in it and DAMN it looked sweet lol.

Eh, this is the hard part, sell your baby, or buy a new one. I know it would be an easy choice for me, because I dont want no damn 500 dollar car payment, not even a cobra is worth that to me right now in my life. I say supercharge yours and be done with it I guess.

 

Shambles, U are half right about the sn-95 4V heads. As I have read it, total flow though the heads of the 03-04 Cobra heads and the FR500 heads out flow the 96-98 heads. The 99-02 heads actually flow less, but they flow more efficantly,and more evenly so they make more power in a usable RPM range. From what I read, the intake valves in the 96-98 heads flow better, and are bigger than any Ford SB head, that is why the cars need the IMIRC's, to essentailly make the intake ports smaller to increase intake air velocity increasing torque until 3,200 RPM when increased total airflow becomes more important than air velocity.

The reason the 96-98 heads don't out flow the newer heads is that the exsaust ports are some of the smallest on any of the 4V heads, so will a little porting and forced induction the 96-98 heads will make more power than even the 03 Cobra/FR500 heads. the 99-02 heads are supposed to some of the best for NA aplications though.

Don't take it as fact, that is just my understanding from a few forums, and some research for a couple school projects in the past. (gotta love school assignments where u just get to talk about your car)

Also, your insurance on the Cobra would be $75.93/month or $455.60/6 months.

 

I went there too and they told me only $21,000 too :wallbash:

 

dunno if you have a house but you could always look into a home equity loan if you wanted to go down that road. Right now you would get a low interest rate around 4%. They pretty much loan you as much as you want.

 

Well US Bank called me back and said they would do $23,900

And my payment will be LESS than my GT

I got to the Bank to late to get the answer back from the main office but it kinda look's like I will be Lances03Cobra tommorow :banana:

no but seriously.. 500rwhp cobra ftw, that's what my buddy has and there's nothing better. It is by far the sweetest car in my town, which means when you get the cobra, you need to come over for a race, and then a photoshoot lol

There are no cobras in town for that cheap....i work at a dealership and we had a used one come in and i couldn't even get it for that cheap. Congrats if you do get it though. Good Luck.

 

This is all I can think of right now......

Its been lowered with h&r race springs and has new (less than a month old) 18's with nitto 555 tires, 275x35x18 up front and 285x35x18 in the rear,bbk caster camber plates, the front struts and rear shocks where replaced with new billstiens when it was lowered less than 2000 miles ago..it has a 2.93 upper pully with a 100 meter idler making around 13lbs of boost.There is more but I can't remember.
