Anybody read the new motortrend? As i was casually reading the new issue of Motortrend, i read that the Legendary Stingray vette will be making its debut, in the next year or so. 100+ more HP (blower) than the current z06, and about 200 lbs lighter as well. Something like 28xx lbs or something like that! I smell chevy in true supercar territory!

its supposed to be called the z06r or z07 and its going to be a limited edition, they doing this because of the new shelby

 

I doubt it...the current z06 would destroy the shelby in any kind of performance test...

 

Not sure why they are worried about the new shelby cause the new z06 is a better car....at least in my opinion. The special edition vette is going to be super bad ***, especially that light. Holy crap.

 

supposidly will cots ~100k...WOW!! but still this thing will be insainly fast. I mean the z06 is darn fast. so now their are making a lighter and even faster car. just crazy.
edit: i was just looking on street fire and supposidly dodge should be releasing the viper 'diamondback' which will put out 650hp!!!! so this may be an answer to this new vette.

 

And I'm stuck with 135 horses. **** mooks.

 

ha ha ha....don't feel bad man....the horsepower wars are great, but they are making my little 300rwhp mach look like a saturn! ha ha

read that article.......They are doind it because they dont want ford to be anywhere close to the z06 as far as hp goes

 

I didn't read the article, but chevy must really want to spank ford cause the current z06 is hands down better than the GT500. Time will tell!!!
