I know I know guys, right now really isn't a good time for me to have a mustang I'm just looking for a good car to get me through my college cars. I have come to reality with what I need to do to get by and still remain a happy person that can actually afford to go out alot. I will always want another Mustang but right now isn't the time considering I will be going to college next year and I would hate to get a Mustang and have to put all those miles on going back and forth to class and then work.

Ugly or not, fast is fast and those things are hella cheap to upgrade and such. One thing I can't stand about some of guys (no finger pointing) is that you consider everything that is a 4 cylinder as a Ricer car. You really need to think about that for a little longer than a couple seconds next time you decide to call someone out on that. If I bought an Ariel Atom, would you call me Rice? I think not, for those of you who don't know an Atom is a Supercharged Honda engine putting out 300bhp sitting on basically a frame and it is EXTREMELY FAST.

And Todd, I actually thought about getting an SVT Focus but once again, it's one of those I would hate to drive and put so many miles on. They are nice and all but the aftermarket world for that car isn't the greatest and I have yet to see a Focus that has made my jaw drop.

Alot of you a failing to understand the point that I cannot get another V8 performance because of the upcoming court dates and such coming up. If I did, I wouldn't be after to afford the insurance on it.

personally if i were you i'd get a VW R32. That's actually a sweet car. We have one at our Dealership and it's sick. I'd rock that before a SRT. That's just me. I'd get a 1.8T GTI before a SRT. To me their just neons. You can do whatever to it and it's STILL a neon.

with that said...

I saw a nice looking silver SRT with black rims and no wing and it looked pretty good.........but you didn't hear that from me cause their just neons right?!?!?!

we didnt call all 4 cylinders rice u tardbrains. the svt focus is hot and its a 4 banger. im actually thinking about trading in my 6 for one and they are not rice unless u do some shizit to them. the neons look like neons which is just plain gay and cheap. if u wanna buy a car that will end up costing more than college in repair bills go for it.

Since when is a high 13/low 14 second car slow? I am not a fan of neons or the SRT-4, but they are a drivers race with a stock 99-04 GT.

i'd rather have a skittle over just about any mustang....13.9 stock w/ the right driver, 25+ mpg, 4 doors, 4 real seats...my next car may be a skittle

but being yellow, i'm assuming it's an 03(they only made very, very few yellow 04's) i'd say don't get it...03s didn't come with LSD, which means not only fwd, but one wheel peel like no other, try puttin almost 300 hp to the ground on one 225 tire, it has a hard enough time doin it on two...

 

Welp, temptation gave in damnit. I actually put a deposit on a an 02 GTI VR6 w/ 6spd today. We are going Saturday to pick it up...

 

I have to admit those lil german cars are pretty cool...

rather have a mustang... but a beautiful car like a mustang isn't the best choice for a DD...

when my car is complete it ain't gonna be a DD... I'm gonna get special insurance and regisration/inspection for it and drive an ol ****ty '71 ford LTD as a DD...

after college get a really good job and buy a shelby... thats what I have planned

Haha, chalk another person to the list that knows where I'm coming from. They seriously are badass little cars if you pick the right engine, tranny, and body style combo.
