I got ripped off on svtperformance. I made the mistake of trusting someone. I sent him my whole mac catback and was told that when he got them installed the other catback would be headed my way. He had pictures, videos, etc ... wellll... never got the catback.
I have his IP address and the address I sent the mufflers to. Is there anything I can do to track him down? I have about 40 PMs we have sent back and forth discussing the whole thing until he just stopped responding.
His IP 170.20.96.116

Sorry but nothing you can really do because there was no transaction made through paypal or your credit card company. Only thing you can do is just go to his house. Or paypal someone a couple bucks that lives in CA to pay him a little visit

What you do is post your ripoff on every mustang forum that you know of. There are a lot of people who dont take that kind of stuff you you may come across a few guys who may meet up and pay the guy a visit for you. Ive seen that kind of stuff happen quite a few times.

Tay, it is mail fraud and a very serious crime! Contact the guys local police dept and go from there. They most likely have a guy who handles internet/mail fraud. Generally, a visit fromt he police is all the guy will need. Besides, this may be not his first time getting to know the cops.
I was in this position a few months ago and did this and it worked.
