Default Well... we finally did it

Yeah me and my buddy Adam finally threw it down today. On the way to graduation rehearsal both of us kicked it in on Route 74. The 2000 V6 Auto vs. the 2000 V6 5-Speed.

Who won might you ask? The State of Connecticut. We got nailed by a unmarked state trooper. We both got reemed out and the guy gave us a non-moving violation for something or another.. I would have had him though.

Just thought I'd share that with you guys.

Street racing= dumb

That being said I have done it and will probably do it again honestly. I raced a 5-speed 99+ and beat him pretty good. He was stock though so i hope I would win lol.

It wasn't really "street-racing" as you would like to define it, it was a double-yellow so no one really left the lane.. we got nailed when it opened up to the passing lane.

Thats just the thing, even if you want to go to the track, the nearest one is two hours away... usually you just catch one of the back-road straightaways here and kick it in, the roads are too narrow for two mustangs side by side... just this time when it opened up to the passing lane the cop was right there, unmarked.

At least in Bowling Green, KY there's a track =) yeah western kentucky university

Look for old abandoned airport runways, we found out about a few by asking old Rodders at the car shows.

I dont condone street racing, but i do it all the time. But its always because someone wants to f**k with me a traffic light. Then they want to race from a roll, they want two cars and race me in their other car. I dont even post my kills because they are not fair or accurate.

Hell guys post their street-racing kills on here all the time... but it'll be a while before I'm back on the street. My father, understandably, took the keys away for a couple of weeks because of the two tickets within the one month, needless to say the DMV has already shot off a license suspension warning letter four days ago.

Plus its raining.

Wow sorry to maybe steal the thread but i have to share this story. Alright so me and some buddies were cruisin in my mustang last night down the main strip in Burlington. So as we are passing McDonalds we see a newer red trans am coming out of MD. So we're just drivin and the trans am pulls up next to us. I was goin 35 in a 40. So the trans am is ridin next to us and gives it some gas pulling alil bit. So i give it some gas and pull alil bit. The trans am was wantin to maybe pull a run or something but then it got off on an exit. So heres the catch the person driving the trans am was some like 40 or 50 year old lady. It was so awsome we were all like "I want her as my mom". I just thought it was pretty funny, and thats the end of my thread steal.

We weren't hit with radar or laser, and the highway is five miles in the opposite direction

Reminds me of a similar story, I was on my way home from dropping my lil bro off at a friends house, and I am driving in traffic etc. I make a left onto RT 302 and i have people ahead of me, and a truck behind. The truck is moving rather slow, duh. On the left of the road is a red 96-98 cobra vert. I dont expect much ,seeing the guy driving has more salt than pepper upstairs as it were, and his younger (prolly my age) daughter in the car with him. He screams out of the side road squelling the tires as to get behind me, and infront of the truck behind me. We are driving along, and the road becomes straight and the line broken, so he decides to mess with me. He guns it and pulls along side of me, i gun it and keep ahead of him a bit, then downshift and pull him. It was so funny and we were now going at a good clip so i cut off and let him pass. Later we were at a stoplight and i yelled 'nice cobra!' and he spins his head and says 'nice GT!' it was funny, we were at the light alone now, and i rev it a bit, he revvs back... a cop pulls up to the right and at the same time i yell out 'cop' he puts his hand up and points forward at it. lol
/rant
I later told my g/f that that is how i want to be when i am old.
