I miss my mustang SO much that I can't even explain it. Sure the Trans Am is nice but it just erks me that in another 5k-10k I know something stupid and expensive is going to go out like the optispark or ANOTHER damn window motor. And the T/A is not one of those cars you want as a daily driver, it's a bitch to park because it's like a damn boat and I'm constantly worried about curbing the wheels when I have to make a semi-sharp turn. And I just don't get the same looks I used to get in the Mustang. When I had the Mustang everybody starred at me and gave me compliments going down the road. Now it's just guys on choppers and then guys who drive their little cars when they aren't driving their chopper.

I'm going to pick up a SN-95 and then take the motor out of the 99 and freshen it up and put it in the SN-95. My goal is to find one for under $7500 so I don't have a stupid car payment. Any of you guys know of a good deal in the central eastern coast then let me know...

 

omg.. !!! I'm glad your coming back. My buddy has a freak of a TA but I would never want to own one myself, after comparing it to my mustang. He went up to 130mph on the interstate once and it felt like it was going to fall apart and we were going to die! I love nicely done SN95's.. they can be such sleeper cars I swear. can't wait til you get your new project

LoL, I have some bad news about that. 3rd gear synchro is out of wack and the throttle body has been off for a while leaving an exposed intake manifold with no hood. I forgot to lay the hood back on top and it rained. That is why I have to have the motor freshened up and all.

 

Oh well, glad you are coming back though. We tried to tell you, but would you listen?......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

 

hey ben, if youre plannin on getting a 99-04 gt engine, why not just pay a lil extra and get a built one from mph?

Those are some good deals you found Rabbit. I would try and find one mostly stock, preferably older adult owned, so you know it hasn't been trashed.

ive got a 95 camaro, i know the pain of driving those f bodys. im a small guy but ive got a verry bad back so i cant take it for to long. i just picked this car up probably about a month ago, the price was right so i jumped on it.

 

sweet man...t/a's are cool but i think if you can make a sn95 look like that one that danny posted, that'd be the ish.....good luck with it
