Default Slow times for lottttttttts of HP?

So I was reading a Mustang magazine today at the mall and there was an 05 GT as a story.

From what I remember it had a Procharger F-1 Blower, 2 core intercooler (may have been 3), set at 20PSI, running on 20x9's in front and 20x10.5's in rear. Had 285/35/20 BFG KDW2s in rear.

Put down770RWHP and 640RWTQ (somewhere in that vacinity)

I know they weren't DR's or slicks, but still they were slow times I feel.
Time were an 11.87 (might have been 11.78). That seems awfully slow for that much power and a centri blower that'll just keep pulling.

Discuss....

His times may not be great for the mods he has, but at least he was blinging!

With 700 hp, I can tell you his traction was limited for about 300+ feet.

yeah, i don't think they make a slick for that size tire and any drag radial is not going to hook well with 700hp+

It's the rims definately! Not only are they heavy as hell, but they don't hook for crap. The side walls are too stiff. If you want a fast car, don't get bigger rims. Those rims are taking a full second plus off that car.

60' is everything for a good ET. without traction you can fly through the traps, but run a high ET.

definatley NOT the rim size. GI Joe ran a 12.85 wth his N/A 05 roush sittin on 20 inch rims.

it's loss of traction for sure.
