Some dip**** who was about to get canned cause he diddnt have enough work probably felt he needed to spearhead some cause in order to save his job.
this is the stupidest thing ford has ever done. Part of the reasons people buy mustangs is cause it is easy to modify them and find parts. Make it difficult to do that and they will see people buying other cars.

This is rediculous. As the author of the article pointed out, MustangTuning and other Mustang sites that specialize in Mustang parts are one of, if not the biggest reason why Ford Mustangs are so popular. I know when I was looking into buying my car, the reason why I went with a Mustang is because there are so many after-market mods available. Ford really needs to think about this. If they force after-market Mustang mod companies to change their name, their profits will go down which in return will make Ford's profits from Mustangs go down as well.
Someone needs to fight this. Im sure the term Ford Mustang is trademarked, but how can Ford get away with trademarking the name of an animal?
If Ford actually goes through with this completely, sales of their most popular car are going to substantially go down, and thats the last thing Ford needs right now.

its honestly really gay what ford is going, i dont know how they are getting away with it too, what about the airplane the Mustang?, What if mustang tuning was a website that sold parts for tuning the plane called the mustang, would ford sue for that one too?, its seriously stupid.
If MT has to change their name they should change it to "Stang Tuning"
