I got my FR500's at work today, one day before MT said they would be there...which is a very nice surprise. I mounted and balanced them and installed them and WOW! WOW! WOW! They look soooo sweeet! I'd take a pic for y'all, but its dark out already...I'll have pics up soon. Thanks MT!

Yeah stock suspension, and I like the center caps just fine. Bullit suspension to come soon, so quit yer bitchin y'all. lol. Also has to do with the angle I took the pic at.

 

WTF is wrong with my center caps? I think they look good on there...those are similar to the ones ford uses on the OE FR500 rims...hell, each box for the center caps was sealed with a Ford Racing logo.

 

Yeah I know it look high in those pics...I swear it doesn't look that high in person, but I do agree 100% that it would look much better lowered. Yeah I like my caps too. Thanks!

 

And to those who like to be negative: blah blah blah...its high..duh! its stock suspension. and the brakes look small cause they are stock too. My words to the negative people in here: STFU be happy for a fellow Mustang lover for getting some cool gear...focus on the positive, not the negative.

 

Yeah, my truck...ummm...POSITIVE NOT NEGATIVE PLEASE!...I am cool with the bad comments, but read the other posts before you say the same negative thing the other people said. Like I don't know it looks high...but for real, it DOESN'T look that high in person. Thanks for the compliment you gave none the less. Oh well...If I had the $$ now I would lower it yesterday..I guess I am just tired of hearing about how high it looks from some folks in here. Hell, if I had lots of dough, I'd be killing every Mustang out there in my Ford GT. LOL!

this is true...I didnt take it as you downin my car...I just heard that too high comment a billion times...hope i didnt offend you with what I wrote. It's 100% true, the car need to be lowered. Period. Thanks for the compliments.

 

I was under the car when I mounted the wheels and it all looks like stock Ford parts...its got the quad shock rear end and the front end pieces say Ford on them...I dont know, its my first one... maybe it is higher or something having to do with the car being ordered with 16x7 wheels...maybe it doesnt have the "GT" suspension (if that exists anyway) dunno...doesnt matter though...It's getting lowered. BTW...I hate you...lol

 

I dunno, I already have a plan for Gears and a tune on the 10th. Thats gonna end up being over a grand so I wont be in a position to spend another 1k+ for suspension since i just spent 1600 on wheels and tires...When I do it, its gonna be a a total change. I'll probably go Bilstein and H&R...but anyway its gonna be shocks, springs, swaybars, bushings, CC plates etc. Its gonna be a while until it happens though. At least I wont have any labor costs for the suspension and had none for the wheels/tires. An upside...but its a lot of money to me. I am abusing my CC once again. :censored:

Ok, so this thread died a few days ago...anyway...I think I see now why my car looks so freakin' high to everyone. First off let me say that since I posted those pics, I have seen HUNDREDS of pics of 99-04 Stangs with stock suspension and some similar wheels like I have on my car. Out of all of them the ones that looked highest were the white colored ones. The darker colored cars looked lower even though they weren't. It's the contrast of the black tire and inner fender area against the white paint. Optical illusion folks! Now, so you all know I WILL be lowering the car anyway, but I thought I'd share this bit of reasearch with the crew.
