my wisdom teeth came in a long time ago, finally getting all 4 pulled out tomorrow and getting a root extracted. i've never been put to sleep before or heavily medicated, the strongest thing I've ever taken is tylenol 3.. so this should be interesting. hope i don't die i hate the dentist.

 

Awww Christy you will be ok.I'm not going to lie and say that it's not going to hurt but you can handle it!!!

 

uh... I hate the dentist too...

They wanted to pull lmy wisdom teeth... but they wanted me to be awake for it...

I was like FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCk that... I'll just brush extra hard...

 

Wisdom teeth arent bad at all. IF you do it right lol. Get the twilight stuff where you get an IV and laughing gas. THAT is the most pleasurable feeling youll ever have. Dont fret little girl. The only crappy thing about it is not being able to eat for like 4 days straight.

i got knocked out for mine, it was great. The room flipped upside down. Pain never showed up, just puffy cheeks. I even had myself a steak dinner that night

 

DEFINITELY. I posted pics on myspace when I got it done. You sure as hell better also. All I remember was after getting the IV in me, he said "deep breaths" and within 5 seconds, everything faded. then I woke up basically falling into my bed after my mom driving me home and proceeded to sleep for ...oh...12 hours straight

I have to get mine pulled soon I just have not had the time or chance to set up an appointment and miss out on some of work.

I'm not exactly thrilled about doing it either.

 

i got real lucky and didnt get swollen at all. i had four removed and got the IV. It was the best nap i ever had

well the operation was good.. and yeah that iv drip was awesome.. best experience ever with the dentst lol. i am pretty sore, that's my main problem.. feels like on the bottom 2 hurt. i havent tried to eat anything yet though, so i think i might here shortly. i've been asleep allllll day. right nowim so groggy too lol

 

I'm going to get all 4 pulled next month. I hear it's not bad just kinda sore afterwards.

What kinda pain pills you get? I got an entire bottle of perkaset (dunno spelling)...They were pretty good. Gotta get some pics of the chipmunk cheeks at least to keep down the road to show if not us

 

Umm, this is probably late but. It's today again. How'd the extractions go?? All 4 is rather extreme. My wife had it done 10 years ago and they gave her some NOZ and she was whacked for a few hours. But the percocets helped alot. She didn't swell too badly but she wasn't very happy for a couple days.. It depends on how deep the roots are. Wisdom teeth tend grow into your jawbone. Hope you did ok!!!

 

I used to take that stuff a lot. 4 perks and you were done. hahaahahah I haven't had my wisdom teeth pulled. One was hurting but i don't want to pay out of pocket to get it done. I need to get insuance. LOL

 

My cousin is a dentist and one things for sure he always tells me is that he has very good job security especially when he sees me eating sweet stuff. Hope you feel better.

 

Yeah hope your mouth is feeling alright. I think I got 3 or 4 of mine out a year ago. I was awake for it. They did give me some gas though and I was really pumped to be getting teeth pulled out of my face after that. I could hear it when they were ripping them out. Great stuff. I felt better fairly quickly luckily. My girlfriend was hurting for a while when she got hers done though. Hopefully yours heals well.

 

well since monday all i have done is slept. the medicine they gave me is some form of morphine and it makes me groggy and dizzy so i haven't even been able to sit up and watch tv. im feeling a bit better today, there's still some pain but its definately getting a bit better.
