Doing 59 in a 30. It was a long and straight section of road in town, I was driving back to my friend's house this morning after dropping clothes off at home, to continue the after-prom party... I'm blaring the music, windows down, on top of the world and I got lasered doing 59 in a 30, 100 feet away from my friend's col-de-sac.

The guy was really nice though, wasn't a hardline-stereotypical dick that you'd expect.. he asked how prom was and how was the after party and what not, if I was graduating, then handed me the $201 ticket. He was nice though, really polite, not kidding either.

My detector went off with the laser alarm, but I believe that we all pretty much agreed that when you're lasered you're ****ed, even with that Valentine, so I'm glad that I bought the radar detector because it did work. The CB's only for the highway.

And yeah, Jon's right... if it was the 1 mile more I would have been nailed, but to be completely honest with you guys, I was flying.. first time I've kicked it in reallll good in two weeks, man it was great. Thats what I told the cop anyway.
