SLP and Magnaflow

Default SLP and Magnaflow

well, tomorrow im either doing 1 or the other i recently purchased the SLP LM1 and slp Catted x with the optional race pipes, my current setup is magnaflow catback with catted x, i have a magnaflow offroad x and im debating wether i should throw on the slp setup or try the magnaflow with the o/r x my current setup isnt loud enough for me so i decided to go with slp but people are telling me to keep the magnaflow so im clueless on what im gonna do here!! help me out

i would keep the magnaflow catback and use the slp x pipe. I have magnapacks and love the tone. Im gonna be getting SLP o/r x and SLP headers soon.

decisions, decisions i might go with the SLP and see how i like it paid $850 for the whole setup so might as well give it a try..

You should have thought about this BEFORE buying the SLP...

Oh well... SLP is good exhaust... a bit too raspy for my taste... good exhaust none the less

haha i know but i bought it about a month ago and was crazy about it and havent had time to install it and now im having second thoughts about it..

nah... Ya'll be happy with em... just about everyone is...

they'll be loud as crap too... so if yer like me then ya'll enjoy all the attention ya get when people get all pissed!

I heard the soundclips of the full SLP system on here and it doesn't even compare to how loud they really are. I Mean... Got beside a 98 stang a while back with loudmouths and geez that thing was pure earsplitting loud. I would almost compare it with straight pipes.. Little too loud I think. But I'm earplug type guy anyway.. LOL

I have the Pack's with a Magnaflow Tru X w/c's and it sound's awesome.

SLP = annoyingly stupidly crazy loud
Magnaflows(regular style, not the packs) = nice tone, loud only when u want

i've had both catbacks behind my cams/long tubes/prochamber and i'd pick magnaflow anyday

the slp's are damn near as loud as open midpipe, just quieter on the inside since they go out the back...

to each his own, tho
