Default Car Insurance

Hey I was just wondering how much I would be looking at hypothetically for the insurance cost of a 02 or 03 GT. I was thinking about trading in and a fella at a dealership about 20 miles away from where I live specialize in GTs and Cobras. Im trying to trade in my 02 V6. Im 19 so I know my insurance will be pretty high. Im already paying $995.00 every 3 months just for my V6 because I got the car when I was early 18 with no job and my dad had to sign as the primary on it and I co-signed. I`m about to be 20 in July and trying to get something different maybe. If I had a shot at something more powerful Mustang-wise it would be a GT for the sake of my age and job. So if anyone could help me on determining possible costs like a carnote and insurance prices that would be kool.

Depends on your area, and familys driving record and stuff like that. When I first got mine at 20 right before my 21st, it was 230 a month for full coverage with a clean record. now im almost 23 and its now 125 a month for full coverage.

Well, I live in VA in a small town and my father has a +5 driving record and my record is relatively clean with the exception of 2 tickets. One for a small speeding ticket and the other for racing. I went to driving school twice for both of those so Ive been clean so far.

Holy Zhit! You are paying $4k a year for a V-6!!! You should be riding a bike. No human should pay that much for car insurance. Seriously, I am not trying to be funny. That is a BOAT LOAD of money for NOTHING. If you were my child, you would not be driving your own car unless I had a money tree in the back yard.

I will be paying $335 for an entire year for a GT Vert with a blower. BUT, I will be be going with hobby insurance, so that is one reason why the rate is so low.

Right now im paying $195 a month. About $2000 a year for my GT. But I just got 2 recent speeding tickets... I just got an adjusted Premium statment saying that $355 was just added to it....and the 2nd ticket hasnt gone through yet..so Im expecting to pay even more now. so I"ll be up to about $3000 because of those 2 tickets.

I hate cops. especially when they pull u over for just going 10MPH over. 728349748934 other people do that. Its cause I drive a fast looking car ...damnit.

bet if i was going 10MPH over the speed limit at 12:00am at night and I was driving a Grand Marquis I wouldnt have been puilled over at all.

Man...pretty much Im just in the process of finding a cheaper insurance company. If anyone knows of any companies that would suit a 19 going on 20year old that lives in VA and have low rates...please let ME know. At this point I`ve explored all options on getting a GT and every place I`ve gone dealer wise is just simply too much and I know the insurance is going to be high. It`s pretty much to the point now either I can luckily land a good deal with a GT somewhere somehow or just take the summer and mod my 6gunner a bit which would be fun. The only thing that makes me want a GT a little more than keeping my V6 cuz I love my 6 don`t get me wrong...but THAT GREAT SOUND.If it means looking at my priorities and money costs then I have no problem staying with my 6.Sure its a V6 but its mine...I keep it clean and running good and it turns heads regardless and its just stock with soon to be mods. If no chance for a GT than thats fine...I won`t commit suicide if I don`t get one atleast at this age and time. Like I said tho, any cheap insurance companies that ya`ll know of that could be good for a V6 and a GT please let me know.

See Im trying to find a way to be able to pay something cheap like that for my car. MINE IS JUST A V6 (not hating) but Im paying money enough for a V8. IT would be good if I can take the low cost and reasonable expense and try to make them my case. I just dont know where to find it or how to go about doing it.
