Fun day!!
welp..i had a very productive day....my friend just bought a 1985 bronco II from his cousin....and his cousin fried the radio cause he had a 40 amp fuse where a 10 amp fuse should have gone....so..i start to rip it out and every single bit of wiring to the radio was fried.....it was pretty much bare wire.....soo....we went to auto zone and got him a $30 radio and re-wired the whole radio system in his car.....and all it took was about 20 feet of speaker wire and a set of wire strippers...that was alll...took us 4 hours cause the wiring was everywhere and routed thru the car very wierd..
after we got it finished..we started the car up and checked if the radio worked....and it did...he pulled out of my driveway but he forgot his food (we orderd chinese)....i ran inside to grap it for him and as i came back out..it stalled.....we poped the hood and saw nothing out of the ordinary....took us about 50 mins to figure out that he forgot to put the thing back into park after it stalled....we were pretty pissed
moral of the story...for thos of u who have an auto that stalls...put it in park before trying to start it again..hahaha
EDIT: and that was my first time rewiring anything in a car!! im pretty proud
