What a day, what a damn day PART TWO
Well, heres another one of Matt's moan and complain about the hand of cards he's dealt...
So we'll start off with this week, two exams, History and Chemistry, Monday night, tues night and wedensday night(tonight if youve forgotten) envolved study sessions of 1-2 hours each, so Im all studied up for that, and I think I did ok on History today, chem is tomorrow and im confident about that, ANYWHO, so now the sh*tstorm begins.
This morning my dad calls me at work. Ok, my dad works in a factory and doesnt make phone calls, so when I get one from him, its USUALLY not great news. He tells me (this is before my History test) that my mom had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance for chest pains. Well, I flip out, try to calm down and go back to my work. Find out about an hour later that my mom has a pulmonary embolism, or for you non-doctor folks, a blood clot in her lungs. Not good, but mom is at the hospital and is in good hands. So she gets put on a blood thinner, and they are taking care of the blood clot and she is stable, so crisis averted, she is going to get out probably sometime this weekend, so if yall would remember her in your prayers if you do that.
Now, the next part of the sh*tstorm. Well, over the past month, my car has been showing the telltale signs of a leaking/broken heater core, and we were basically waiting for a free weekend to fix it. Well, today, of ALL days, it decides to start leaking onto my floorboards, more importantly, my legs. So Im 20 mins from home, in the parking lot of my work, when I discover this. I immediately turn off the car, and call my dad. My car is sitting in the parking lot at work until my dad and I can get out to bypass the core, so hopefully that will fix the leaking/fogging of the windsheild. Im just ready for a break from all this crap that seems to be piling up at once. But, I learned a long time ago that you cant do anything about it, and you are better off to take it in stride, chin up, and smile, cause God wont ever give you more than you can handle. Oh well, thats my daily story, hope you all had a great day.

The leak, its a common thing with cars with higher mileage, the only thing that pisses me off is that the heater core was replaced TWO YEARS ago, so it shouldnt be broken and I JUST had my intake manifold replaced by ford...something fishy huh?

Yea, the car means absolutely nothing to me right now, its funny, you get older and your priorities start to line up correctly...I just dont care about it anymore right now, as long as my mom is doing fine, and im doing well in school, that is really all that matters to me at this point. The car is just that, a car. Maybe we'll get it home this weekend and I can put it in the garage until I can buy some stuff from Randy to fix it, but I really just dont care. Thanks for the prayers, and I definately said one for your mom, thats amazing.

Damn man that sucks. Glad she is doing better though, I'll keep her in my prayers.
I had a heater core go out on me in a hospital parking lot once. Bad thing was I was praked in the front right next to the handicapped sidewalk, I felt bad for dumping all that antifreeze there, but someone came by and washed it away.

Thanks yall, she'll be home from the hospital tomorrow. The clot dissolved I suppose like they wanted it too, so now she'll just be home for a while til she recovers. Thanks for the prayers everyone.
