not exactly sure.. probably through tuning and tweaking. you have to think, its engine is pretty similar to the Ford GT that puts out 500 hp and 550 tq

 

yeah 500hp and 480 trq.....I cant wait to see videos of these cars, i wonder how much they will go for, i want one

 

they'll go for 100k im sure.. ford says they've already sold the first and half the second year of production

 

there's a problem with the crank shaft housing or somethign, and production might be delayed...

nope.. the cobra name is being dropped for now, but im sure it'll return

which vette are you talkin about?? With aggressive gearing, it could compete with the new z06. pulley swap and itd smoke it.

I would love to have one too, but this car is soooo unattainable it is rediculous.

 

Wouldn't mind having one. Still don't like the body style of the new stangs. But the Cobra is cool, mostly knowing it has a 500 hp 330 ci engine in it seals the deal.

Well, i hope they're not selling for 100k, I am on a waiting list on the military program and they are telling me around 40k, and i got a good chance of getting a slot. So, if anybody knows somebody who wants to pay 100k, i'll gladly give them mine and get a Z06

 

Lets just hope ford stays true to its word. We don't need another 99 cobra fiasco!

That's why it won't be able to compete with the new z06 vette in stock form. Ford needs to figure out a way to do some weight reduction cause it's getting out of hand....but I guess the "big" muscle car era is trying to make a comeback.

the retail price on them is like 40k.. but because they're so in demand ive heard dealerships quote a lot more than 40k
