Mine recommended the 5-speed also but I insisted on the auto. Back then, I really knew nothing about cars. I only bought my Mustang because of looks. I had no intention of modding it.

Uh nope. My parents never driven sticks, & no one in my family are "car" ppl. I never knew anyone who drove a stick until just a year ago. I guess you can call me a late bloomer.
