Well I have had Nationwide since I have been driving...ooooh 11 yrs ago. From time to time I do checks online to see if I can find anyone cheaper and I can't. Not even that damn gecko can beat their price on my insurance.

I've been driving for 21yrs,and in that time I have yet to find an insurance co that butt rapes you more than GEICO.It costs $1200 less to insure my GT with Progressive than it did with GEICO for my old Focus.Yes,that's NOT a typo.$1200.The quote for my GT was obscene.Mind you I'm mid 30's w/ 2pts on license and NEVER had an accident or filed a claim.I ran a stop sign and due to my record it was reduced from 4 points to a 2 point defective vehicle charge.GEICO investigated, and charged me as if I was penalized the 4 point violation. They are THE ONLY insurance co I've ever had that did that.

I have state farm, they are kinda high but you get what you pay for. If you have a claim, they have your check in 2-3days.

Just about every company can be cheaper for one person and higher than another. I always encourage people to shop around. The one thing that's important is that you go with a reputable company. Having a lower price on coverage doesn't help you if the company doesn't have your back on claims. Look up the AM Best rating on the company to see what their service is like. They are like the JD power/Consumer reports of insurance. Progressive and State Farm are the top companies I recommend.

I checked places like geico and progressive and stuff. They are all way over priced. The only quotes they give you to compare are also equally expencive insurance companys. Those guys are all in cahoots with eachother. They all just want to charge the crap out of you and justify it by showing you the other super expencive insurance groups. When i was with geico i never met a single person, it was all over the phone with some jerkoff in another state, and way expencive.

When my car got hit they checked the damage in a day or so and immediatly wrote me a check. I actually have an insurance agent that i had to meet when i signed up with them, he checked out my car and all that.

Honestly, i think American Family Insurance is about the best insurance company out there. they have a personal human touch, and i only pay 145 a month compared to somethin like 260 a month which geico, progressive, titan, and all the others were wanting to charge me.
See 1st line of my post above yours. AmFam was actually higher than the others for a few people I know. They were in the middle for me though. I went with State Farm though since they offered the best rate.

WOW. It sounds like you all hate Geico. I called everyone and their uncle and Geico gave me the cheapest rate. I pay only 900 every six months for the Mach 1---with 2 15 over speeding tickets. Plus they cover all the mods I do as long as I give them the receipt for the parts
