I come from a very strong back ground of VW's my Dad has a GTI and I had a VW before my Mustang. Anyway very cool and fun car. Just like other VW's the interior is first class, makes it seem like Ford gets their interior parts from the Dollar Store. On to the good stuff the engine its a 2.0Turbo 200hp 4 banger that runs.....and I mean runs very well. There was almost no turbo lag at all, unlike the WRX I test drove (I did'nt like that car at all). I think they get high 14's in the 1/4 but get a new program for it (APR) and that little box would do some damage. I really liked the car BUT after we were done I got into my stang and it was sunny and like 70% out so I had both windows down and heard my Packs as I down shifted at the light and my Dad and I looked at each other and both said....It was a nice car and alot of fun but its no V8!!! You just cant beat it man, its a beautiful thing!

 

Stang>GTI...but I am considering getting a 1.8T for my DD in the next few months

 

Shadows probably rode shotgun.
