Default YO WTF..YO!!!!!!!!!!! muh window....yo

my driver side window is all the way down right now....and will NOT go up when I push teh button! when I push the button for the window to go down ..I hear a click noise coming from the fuse box located under the steering column towards the left of the steering wheel in the cabin. but I dont hear A click when pushing the button for the window to go up...

I checked the fuse for the power windows and its fine. WTF? is my driver side window motor blown?

it won't budge even an inch? i tried to power the car up a bit hit the gas to get some more power and then it would go up a few inches before burning out, then again it could be a fuse all together, but in the van it was the actuator... so u gotta check the fuses...

the fuse is fine....I actaully replaced the Power Window Fuse..and it did the SAME thing.

so its gotta be teh motor or suttin ...if it was the fuse...wouldnt BOTH windows not work ...

My window would kinda squeel when goin down or up before this...which is a common problem for other stangs...but today when I put my window down..it sqeeled louder than ever and now it wont do Anything when i push the button for it to go up....so...heh..i think all the squeeling did its number on the motor....

anyone know how myuch it would prolly cost me to take it to ford and have them fix/replace the motor..if thats teh problem.? *shrugz*

the problem is this... THAT LITTLE BUTTON IS BAD

ya got a bad switch... What I did was I spliced the 2 rear windows together to work off 1 switch...

I dont know what to tell ya bout the front...

Ya either need a new switch panel or splice the wires together... easy fix...
or it could be as simple as his motor is dead... thats what happened to mine...

the motors are costly. on the other hand, if you have a gt, smack the area with the speaker that is up top. one time mine would not go up, and a mustang buddy gave it a good whack with his hand, right around or on that speaker, and then it worked fine.

Like mentioned above. Slam the door shut a few times. Not too hard. You can also bang above the door speaker with the bottom of your fist. Give that a few whacks. Mine stopped working once, then the next day it was perfectly fine and i havent had a problem since.

I bet money the window is stuck mine did the same thing punch the door right after the speak a few times pretty hard and i bet money it will go up. If you press the button and hear the motor click than its stuck and just give it a good hit and it will loosen up. it happens.

everyone who has a mustang probably had that problem. infact a lot of cars do that, not just mustang or ford in general.
