Insurance Question......
There is a kid at school that drives a 90s 3000GT VR-4 and it has 2 doors. He has it listed in his insurance as a sedan because of the back seats. It saves him a boat load of money. Is this even legal??? and Could you do this with a Mustang even though it doesnt have 4 drs could us till list it as a sedan or would it have to be a coupe?

I highly doubt it, you don't determine it at a sedan the insurance company tells you what it is.. like my friend's WRX is considered a sedan and hence his insurance used to be less then mine, even though he had a turbo stock and his was alot faster then mine...

Emm... not too sure about that one. The Mustang is under a base-2/dr coupe (GT is another category), and I don't think I can change it.
But there are cars out there that definitely can push the margin, the Outlander is a Mid-Sized SUV but its categorized as a "Station Wagon."

there is no way that he can list it as a sedan.....the type of car is determined by the # of doors, engine, then # of passengers.....the vr4 is a 2+2 coupe as is the mustang.....a sedan has 4 doors and a hatch is 3 doors....i dont under stand how he can get it listed as a sedan
