Well i was just driving next to my friend that was test drivin a 03 gt, we came to a stop and kinda "squeled" our tires a little, then out of nowhere a cop comes out and pulls us both over, got a ticket for tints and squeling the tires, so did my friend that was TEST drivin the dang thing got a ticket for tints, cop was a real dick, oh well at least it wasnt for speeding, also he said that its a $1000 fine for "drag racing" He said remeber that next time you come to a stop next to one of your "mustang buddies" <------******

Got a court appearance on the 10th of may at 9am
oh well it was gonna happen some time

That sucks..I got pulled over for almost the same thing a month ago, illegal start. I was messing around with my friend and somehow only I got a ticket but dident have to pay anything but my insurance is still going to go up

ha i got one in OBX clocked at 119 in a 55 accelerating but goin 150! went to court and only got a 119 fine and only reckless drivein no speeding got luckly on that one lol. one of my friends got pulled over once and got speeding and reckless because he was going 65 in a 45 and had to pay more than $300 he was like WTF and u go 119 and only get reckless and 119 fine!!

 

i just went to court for my tint yesterday and had to pay $114

 

Ha ha thats funny.....you got lucky... i dont know about anyone else but i freak out when i get in the vincinity of a cop..they scare the crap out of me!!!

 

Tickets suck! I got a ticket last week for not haveing my seat belt on. Its sucked i was literally three houses away from my house. The reason he pulled me over was because he said i was going 39 in a 30 but i could swear i wasn't speeding.He wrote me a warning for the speeding and a warning for my friend whoes under 18 and not wearing his seat belt so i could have been much worst. Luckly i got off with only a 74.50 dollar ticket instead of something like 300

 

Lucky isn't even a word to discribe it!

the thing is he was a UC cop and the only lights he had were two little blues in his visor which i couldnt see when hes like 3 or 4 miles behind me all i saw was hi beams flashing and didnt think anything of it .. i have to say it was funny...

 

The fact the cop gave your friend a ticket for his window tint means he was TRYING to be a dick, more then likely the judge will see that and you won't get fined... how can you be held responsible for something you don't even own yet... WTF lol... oh well

I was told by a family friend (sherriff) more often then not if a officer gets you for your tints in a sports car, he was tryin to get you for something else and failed...

Thats almsot as bad as my friend gettin a ticket for reving his engine while we were outside the car talking in a group... (civic drove by and the officer said he was reving his engine...50 bucks, or go to court and still pay 30?...)

 

I got pulled over last year in Virginia coming home from North Carolina. It was an undercover cop. Car was a tanish brown, PERFECTLY matched the dead grass he was sitting on. Being undercover there were no lights except little ones on his front/rear dash. Anyways, I was going damn fast, was able to slow it down somewhat since I saw the car and was like, thats gotta be a cop, why would a car be sitting there. LOL.
anyways... got ticketed for a 100 in a 65. This was my second ticket in 6 months but the first one was in my home state of Ohio and this was in Virginia. So to the cop it looked like it was my first ticket. Anyways, I had to mail in a letter since I was supposed to appear in court, couldnt really do that being in school and the court was over 6 hours away from my hometown.
(Just remembered something, my court date was over 3 months away from when I got ticketed) Anyways got the notice back in the mail, 600+ dollar fine and 6 months suspended license in Virginia. I know I was speeding, but that seemed a little drastic for me.

i never get bervous around them they make me happy and i rev and speed past then especially when ther on the side of the road or turning and im going straight

Drag racing is a 360 dollar ticket for "racing on a highway" but I dont know anything about that one...

 

Here in Georgia if you are going over 30 over the speed limit, it's instant arrest!

As of last month my record is finally clear! Had 2 tickets on it 1 was 65 in 45 the other was 62 in a 35. I'm 26 and this is the first time my record has been clear since 2 months after I turned 15. I've probably had over 25 tickets since I started driving and the insurance only found out about 1 of them, that was the wreck I had when I was 15!!!!! Just been damn lucky!
