move your wing back it will look alot better and very easy to do

 

i 2nd the move the wing back. and you can use a 01-04 wing but you would have to drill new holes the 01-04 wing has different mounting points. So then your trunk would need to be repainted also.

 

If i were you, i'd lose the wing...

It's the 3 piece wing. Has little pieces that come down on the rear panel.

 

can the 01 wing be moved back? if so, how do you do it?

 

I dont know if you can move it back without seeing the holes left behind it. The 99-00 can be moved back because there is alot of material on the part that connects to the trunk and it covers the old holes. you can unbolt yours and see if you can i have near heard of anyone trying to do that or doing it to our style wing.

 

would the 380R rousch front and saleen 3 wing be bad cause of mixing different stuff 2gether...?

Why do you want the 02-04 wing? the 99-01 wings are so much better IMO and even if you do swith wings they look the same to the naked eye. move your wing back.... dont take it off

yeah.... IMO i love the wing (i have the same exact car as you) I love the stock look of the mustang, just get a hood scoop, lower your car, chin spoiler, move wing back and that will make a huge difference on appearence.

i do, this is all FUTURE ideas...lol no time soon..im getting rims soon tho cause i need tires..getting SLP1 exhaust in a week when my mom pays me back...lol but this is all future stuff i wanan do, besides gears, tuner, tb plenum, cai, midpipe etc.

but anyway, don't loose the '00 wing...I like it! infact I have a '00 too and I was looking at other wings for my car and i'm like "but mine just looks so much better!"

 

I plan on moving mine back tonight when I get home. I'll take some before and after pics (since we basically have the same car) and let you know how long it took and how easy/hard it was!
