Are there variations between the 99-04 body styles? For some reason the 04's look to me like they are slimmer or more streamlined. Is this true or is it just me being unhappy with my '01?

 

It's just the suttle differences that make it so (to me)...

Spoilers, Headlights, Hood/Side Scoops, etc. Add a few together and makes a big difference in looks.

 

I agree. My mom has an 04 and my car looks so different from hers. When I put the smoked headlights on mine it looked like a whole new car. I think the stance and the wheels make the biggest difference. I see some Mustangs like our body style and they just look like a cheap piece of shat. It is amazing what some small mods can do.
