grill delete help

Default grill delete help

How do i get to the screws that attach the stock grill to the front bumper????

Best thing to do is take out your headlights....it will give you more leverage when pulling the top part of the bumper. After you disconnect the top of the honeycomb grill, pull it forward. Be sure to pull on the bumper and not just the grill. It's best if two people do this but I ended up doing mine by myself. There are four screws and you'll have to unscrew them from the underside of the bumper. That's why you'll have to pull the grill and bumper forward a bit to get in there. I think it takes a 7mm socket.

Yeah, I did this last night. You basically bend the grill towards you so you can reach underneath where it attaches to the bumper, then using a 7mm socket you unscrew it, starting at one side and then going in order to the other side. As he said, take out the headlights to give you more room to reach your arms through. It's a real pain in the ***.

ugh, just got my grill delete today didnt know it was such a pain in the *** to put in by looking at it u think "wow easy 4 screws" but take the headlights out c'mon!
