its very common i mean vfery common muffler it sounds good. but its so damn common. it doesnt flow very well but its beter than stock.

The delta flwo is a quieter versoin on the standered 2 chamber or 40 series.

If i was gonna get flowmaster (like i ever would again) i would go super 40's they make more power then regular 2 chambers and are deeper.

yeah, but your not going to get too much difference between any muffler, as for as performance wise, maybe a few hp, if that. I just like the sound.

They have a great muscle car sound, but they drone like crazy. When you up the rear gear, this tends to get annoying, so Im going for something different and more quiet, and Im going with magnaflow mufflers. But no doubt, nothing beats a good ole off road midpipe and flowmaster two chambers sound. Man ill miss it...

I have the Super 40.

Not common, in fact new muffler set out and has better performance and with my o/r x pipe, louder and better sound than most stangs out there.

See it here.
http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cg...er/952448.html

just get the 2.5 size at least.

I will have sound clips up soon. Many people say that i am a crock load of crap when i say that they are good. Most have not even seen these on cars yet.

I have weilded mufflers and bassani catted xpipe. You must get the xpipe as it really woke up the sound but then again my system had 6 cats 3 on each side on the stock system. Its all about taste and what you like.

Blowmasters.
Worst. Aftermarket. Muffler. Evar.

you would be better off buying a new OEM system.

Ive had flowmasters on probably my last 6 cars, the 1997 i just bought had some flowmasters on it, but rotten pipes. I put on a Magnaflow Cat back, The SOTPs feels a little stronger. Quieter than flows @ idle, and cruise, But you can definitly hear them when you get on it. And i really like the sound better. Everyone has Flowmasters. This kit was the same Price as the flowmaster cat back price, But They are Stainless steel. they should outlast the car.

I already have flowmasters and I love the sound and to me it's pretty damn loud but how much louder will it be if I get an x-pipe? And which x-pipe is the best?

Hmm, never heard flowmasters on a X pipe myself. The mid pipe will change your tone a lot though. And if you go offroad, then a whole lot.

I have flows and a o/r x pipe, and I've had many people pull up next to me just to ask what kinda exhaust I have. Don't listen to all this, ooohhh blowmasters worst muffler ever crap. It all depends on what sound you want, or really how loud you want it. No one muffler is gonna give you a noticable hp increase, a whole catback yeah, but not a muffler.
