THat sucks. There's a couple of used ones on Ebay (don't want to paint my stock one just in case I don't like it), one says '94 to '04 and the other says '96. I've seen a couple of the billet ones on Ebay that say '94 and up... I may bid on the used ones if they don't get to high and see what happens...

Thought about it, but I would rather paint an extra door instead of the one on the car now in case I have to go back for some reason...

hey dsdaddy. If youre not sure if you'd like it, just cut a black piece of paper circular and put it over your gas cap and then take a few pics from a distance( so its not obvious that its just a cover) to see if you like the look. U dont gotta drive around or anything. Also, u could just put your car in mspaint and draw a black circle over it.

I tried that with a scrap piece of black vinyl.. I like the look, I just want to have another one to paint so I can change back to the stock color if I ever need to...

Hey Springstang, you interested in selling that spare one?

Don't hold your breath ...oh wait, on second thought, go ahead and hold it...

Seriously, I'll get one off of Ebay eventually...I've got this thing for holding on to every stock part I replace...just in case.

Im part of that club too... I think it looks good if you have some other black stuff, like black rims, or black spoiler, but just plain, I dunno.

Agree, It only looks good if you have black accents, otherwise it looks as if you screwed your old one up and haven't got around to painting the new one.

I was thinking black spoiler, black hood scoop, black gas cap along with the black rear valance and bumper letters...Black FR500's are on the list as well.
