Default suspension questions

i'll be in mph next spring for the install of longtube headers and my kb. i want to get a good suspension set up also, but not a ton of money on my part.
i may take the car to the track, and may race it, but otherwise it is my daily driver from april-sept. the roads in my area have lots of bumps, cracks, holes, and other annoying things, so i want a comfy ride.

at the same time, i want a car that handles well, the nose doesn't dive into the ground under braking, and is lowered a bit. i dont want it lowered to where the comfy ride sucks and i am hitting the bottom of my car all the time though.

what kind of stuff should i be after? i originally was looking at a bullitt kit, but tim mentioned that the strange stuff shocks and struts is great, and steeda sport springs are good too.

i'm looking to stay around 5-600 bucks on the suspension.

what do all of you recommend?

The second day I had my new/used 95 I went and purchased the Steeda springs. Hotchkis upper and lower control arms and MAC subframe connectors. Changed the car dramatically. Yes, it is stiffer, but not that harsh at all. Body roll is very very minimal now. I reccomend these parts (pick whatever brand u want) and put em on.

Dont go with the stranges, they are too loud, if I were to do it again, Id go with H&R sports, bilstein shocks/struts, and all the other dressings. I know this is like twice your budget, but if you do it, do it right. But, Ill let you know how I like my steeda sports in about a week.

Id recommend h&r sport springs, and adjustable shocks and struts. That way you are able to adjust for comfort, strip racing, and road courses as well. Id also recommend steeda bumpsteer kit, and x2 balljoints.
