Angry need help with cataylic converter!

Hi this is my first time posting and I'm haveing so problems wit my car and need help!
I have a 2002 V6 Mustang with a dual exhaust. I recently ended up in a ditch and ripped off the drivers side tail pipe. I was informed that I haber to replace the muffler also. Now my car is driving as though its clogged or misfireing when I accelerate. If I remove the catalyic converter will it help with my problem? And if so what kind is sraight pipe should I I run? Please if anyone could help irt works be greatly appreciated, thanks

If its legal to run with to cats.. rip those bastards off...

If it/they are clogged or bent and restricted, that could be your issue.

Have a muffler shop weld in some SS exhaust pipe where the cats were and get some o2 sensor emulators and yur done.

It's going to sound horrible if you remove the cats on the v6 though. I would replace whatever is broken or needs to be replaced. Might want to put on the stock parts for a while if you have them.

What setup did you have under the car before you went in the ditch?
