Won't shift out of Park (short?)

Default Won't shift out of Park (short?)
Trying to get to work today, Went to my car and it wouldnt get out of park. Checked my brake lights and they were not working, so im guessing I have a Short some where, checked the brake lamp fuse, it was fine checked fuse #33 it was fine. about to go back and check #17 and 35

Sounds like the brake switch has took a dump. I would'nt go too deep onto shorted wiring until you replace the switch.

managed to get into D Ill take it into the shop tomorrow.
