Default nasty smell

I got in to my car today that I have not drove for about a month and it smelled terrible inside. I start looking around and I cant find anything that would make it smell like this. So I took the back seat out and there was a mouse nest or something along those lines. I didnt find any mice anywhere. Anyone have any ideas how to get the smell out of car or how to keep mice out of car, I keep the car in garage at all times.

How would they get in there anyways? That's weird.
My car tends to smell, but only durning when it rains, because of the moister. LoL

**** mice dude. We had a 1989 nissan pickup, and mice got in there a lot. Eventually one of them got into the A/C Fan, and got stuck. Died, and stunk the place up. Had to take apart the fan to get to it, was disgusting. **** em.

It the worst smell ever , it makes me wanna push it off a cliff. I have seen about 4 or 5 flies in my car which makes me think there is a dead mouse in there. I took the seats out , pulled up the carpet and still cant find one. I took alot of the insulation out of car. I swept up all the mice crap i can find .

Smell around the passenger front seat area, and the dash. Easiest way to find the corpse is literally smell it out. Odds are hes in your A/C vents..

It probably crawled far up inside your dash and died. Check behind the glove box too.

Have you checked in the defoster vent for the passenger window. They could easily go in there, and you wouldn't smell it unless you turned on the vent.

Oh believe me, it happens. My friend's vette had a mouse nest in the FUSE BOX last year. Almost blew up his damn house when he started it up.

mice can get through a whole the size of a dime. i do pest control and i have seen and smelled my share of dead mice/rats. it is some nasty smelling ****. i have spent hours looking for dead rats in buildings. sometimes you never find them. if it is a dead rodant the smell should be gone in about a week or so depending on the size of it and the temperatures
