Default Lowering the front only

Got a question for the suspension geeks.

I think I have decided to lower the front and leave the back alone. I want the old-school look.

I could just go and buy the Rousch springs which they have a set that does just that. But, is there another way to do this? I want a 1" - 1.5" drop in the front.

When I installed my C-springs I drove around like that with the front end not the best of rides but did look pretty cool. My advice do the whole job. It may look cool but its not great.

Here's the way to do that.Go ahead and lower it with H&R sport springs then run 17's in front and 18's in the rear with the biggest tires you can find that will fit and there you go the look you want.

Careful if you are going to run a 17 and 18 combo...the computer doesnt like that too much and will throw the ABS light.

Thats actually a pretty good idea. Thing is, though, I have brand new tires and the deep dish bullets. I do not want to have to replace tires and wheels.

Any other ideas?

Air shocks lmao just kidding.Hmmm not sure how it would work with just changing the front springs though. If you went with Ford C springs I think it might work, the drop is only an inch and that would give you the stance for sure.

Trick is finding someone who has just the front springs. Then, I would wonder about the handling with different springs.

Somebody told me that you can get a spindle for the front end which moves the wheels up in the front. Anyone heard of this?

I have a better idea why not get some adjustable coilovers for the front. That way you can get the desired height yout without messing around with the rear. I'm pretty sure Granatelli Motorsports has a front coil over kit.
