J-MOD and Tranny Cooler
#1
So i was reading earlier posts, and does anyone know where else to find a J-MOD for a 2001 3.8 since that one VAP website no longer carries? I'm having no success.
Also does anyone know if mishimoto tranny coolers are any good?

Google shall provide. http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny...ybusiness.html
I wouldn't waste my money on that cooler, it's big time overkill. You can get the same thing done with a Hayden cooler from your local parts store. Just run it inline with the stock cooler.

Well with the new gears and the SCT tune i currently have in it it shifts rather hard. I am just concerned about eventually tearing up the tranny and i figure this is a pretty cheap fix over all? also thanks for the link and the tips on the cooler.
also, i would like to be able to run another tune with these gears but its wayyy too rough without these mods

The J-mod would make it shift firm as well. I would rather mod the valve body and turn the line pressure back to stock personally.
summitracing.com has nice B&M fluid coolers that are cheap and work great. And any auto in any part of the country where it gets hot can use a tranny cooler.
