Default I test drove...

I test drove a 2011 Mustang GT yesterday...

It reminded me why I fell in love with these cars so many years ago. I just want to say those cars feel amazing, I'm not even talking about the power behind them. The ride is smooth, the clutch feels AMAZING, the stock shifter is AMAZING. Overall.. I freaking love the 2011 Mustang GT. I want one so bad. Comparing it to my 03 just makes me cry. I think Ford really got it right this time.

Yea I really want one but at the same time I really want to make my car a beast and just build it up... Torn between the 2 right now.

Yeah I understand what you mean, but I have to do A LOT of driving in my car for work now, and it just doesn't make sense to cruise around with cams and no cats anymore lol

I'll still stick w/ my 03. Ford got the chassis right but I still hate the remote shifter and the pig nature of it (my 03 is at least 400 lb lighter... w/ an iron block 4.6). If Ford kept the weight down by having limited sound dampening, less power parts (windows/seats), and set the engine back 6" so the shifter can be directly mounted (or at least have it mounted like the Hurst TKO shifter does for the S197s), they would then have winner, hands down. Sad to think though the Mustang now, despite being almost has heavy as the old Crown Vic is the lightest of the three pony cars now.
