Default Replacement windshields ....

So I am replacing my windshield this coming Friday due to a huge crack. So I call a reputable glass company and they ask me which windshield i want. The one with the pony or the one without. So of course I ask for the price of both. The one with the pony is $375 and the one without is $195. Since insurance is not being used I went with the one without the pony. Only reason why the one with the pony is so expensive is because it is made but ford and ford alone so they jack the price off. Pissed me off but Ill just tint the brow and call it a day.

Ask and see if they can give you a garuntee on not breaking your cowl cover. I guess so you can be pissed off when they do crack it, becuase they will.

cowl cover is easily removed so they dont break it. You could even have that removed so there is no chance of that. Also many places will do a mustang windshild for 150 or under and that includes glass and all labor.

I check on prices a about a year and a half to 2 years ago, and back then I got a price of 245 with the pony and like 180 w/o. I hope the price ain't went up for me too!
