Default Dash Gauge Issue

Hello,

I recently installed my new White Face gauges on my 92lx 5.0 and now have a problem. All of the gauges work (batter, temp, oil, gas) except for the RPMs and the Speedometer. I didnt detach the speedometer cable or any of the other 2 bracketed cables behind the gauges to do the install. I did it all with just removing the plastic cover shield and pulling the gauge housing our slightly after unscrewing it ( I realized how hard it was to get to those cables). Is it possible that I accidentally disconnected something? Would these 2 malfunction together because of that? I also found this tiny green light bulb with a Phillips Screw pattern on the black back of it in my floor board when I finished. Any idea what that goes to in my car or what it is? Im doing a complete interior refurb and Im a rookie. Any help is appreciated. THanks, Chris

i had a problem when i installed mine the opening to slide over the needle base wasn't quite large enough and i ended up pushing the needle down too far. i used a fork to slide under the needles and lift up. they all worked fine then. i don't know if you have the same problem or not.

So I need to lift the needles up a bit? I have that tool that came with the kit. I will try that. Thanks. Any idea what that little green bulb/fuse looking thing is?? Not sure where it fell from.

Thanks man! I think that worked. The Tack looked to be working fine. I'll have to wait and take it out until I can test the speedo.
