Default Throttle Body & Plenum

Alright so I was looking at getting a Throttle Body for my 00' GT on AM the (70mm Acufab). is this a good product?
are there better ones?

and on AM it says requires no tune and says DONT ADJUST any srews all adjsutments must be made at the TPS then right right below that are the comments
and someone says that his car had a high idle
is this an easy adjustment?

by the way,
Im not planning on getting any forced induction!

let me know what you guys think
Thank you.

Acufab is some top of the line stuff. No adjustments should be required but you never know what that person did or the condition of his TPS. He could have had some sort of vaccum leak or IAC problem or even a worn TPS.

If you have a hand helt tuner you can adjust your idle to whatever you want.

Accufab is top shelf when it comes to throttle bodies and plenums for our cars. The only down side is that you'll pay for it. Trick Flow offers a nice combo if you're looking to save some cash at $250 for the set (tb and plenum) on summit racing. I opted for this since the hp/tq difference between brands is minimal. Definitely doesn't look as nice as the accufab stuff though!

Honestly I have a Tb/plenum combo and would spend my money on a nitrous kit or gears or something else.

spend money on something else...no performance gain with just a 5mm upgrade. If I were you i would get some gears...that would make the but dyno more happy. I got gears and didnt have money for a tuner and drove around about 6 months with no problems...I even had a automatic...she still shifted on time.

I run a 75mm TB and plenum but my car is supercharged and I paid like 400 bucks for this kit back in 2005. I got the bling from accufab...not so blingy anymore I have to get some polish and make it pretty again.

You don't seem to see that they aren't worth the cost at all. Honestly unless your running boost or have every bolt on and want to blow cash I would spend my money else where or save it for something else. For the small gains in power you could buy a nitrous kit and actually be much faster.

If your going for looks you might wanna forget the price and buy the prettiest one, but as they are saying if you want any power at all outa this, forget it.

Gears cost anywhere from $150-600 depending on where you go.

Yea you will need a tune with gears because your speedometer will be off by a few mph. Just get the gears, bearing kit, and tuner. And there ya go much more speeeeeed.
