can someone explain the difference between EV1 style and EV6 style

They use a different connector then old school Ford injectors. I believe the first Fords to start using them are the 03-04 Cobras. And now all 05+ use the ev6.

They are longer then the EV1 but I'm not sure how they are better. Seems Fordracing is going to all EV6 injectors now.

I see that americanmuscle has ev1 - ev6 adapters and vise versa, so im guessing whichever ya get you could make work.

 

Yep whatever you get you can make them work with a simple little connector.
