Default AC delete

Anyone done this, any tips? I'm really debating on taking the ac out of the mach. I've had the car 3.5 yrs now and NEVER used it, plus I'm slowly removing any weight I can from the car. I see AM has the delete pulley, but how difficult is it removing the compressor, hoses, etc.

The hardest part to remove is the evaporator, which is buried in the dash, like the heater core. The rest is fairly easy and in the engine bay. Make sure you discharge the system first.

Yep like he said that part is really easy. The hard part is taking the evap out if you want to get all that weight out.

Not that I'm interested in removing my A/C components, but I'm just curious... how much weight could it shave off?

No harm in leaving it in there at all. Just leaving extra weight in the car. I don't know of a write up for it. Just take all that crap out of the engine bay and that is all pretty straight forward.
