Default changing transmissions?

Has anyone switch from an auto to stick on a 99-04 mustang? How hard is it to set up the pedal assembly?

Its a pain in the *** but do-able. Plan on taking the metal plate off over the steering column and I think I took out 3 of the 4 bolts holding the column up and loosened the last one. Take the shaft loose too and wedge it out of the way and you should have enough room to swap it out.

anyone who tries to do this in the future, the most annoying part was discovering that the cars are different where the shifter comes up into the car. There are different size wholes for the auto and manual. I had to customize the hole on the auto to get the shifter to fit through it.
